Item Details

A vintage, early American-style drop-leaf server. This quality-built cherry server features a rectangular top with beveled edges, and two hinged leaves to either side. There are two dovetailed, solid wood drawers and one full-width dovetailed drawer below, which are fitted with pierced brass handles, and the bottom drawer is also fitted with a center key hole escutcheon. An open, wood shelf is at the bottom and the server rests on straight, fluted legs with casters. The interior of one drawer is marked ‘Statton Trutype Americana’.
