A finely hand-knotted Gabbeh pictorial rug. This wool rug offers a directional design featuring four ram’s to the center field woven in abrash vibrant colors including burnt orange, azure, moss, cinnamon and honey. Framing the rug is a pair of reciprocal ‘Laleh Abbasi’ borders in burnt orange and ivory along with boxed alternating colored diamond motifs. Selvedges are overcast in stripes, finishing with variegated warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
