Hand-Knotted Persian Abadeh Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Abadeh area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of terracotta orange, burgundy, crimson, white, charcoal gray, pumpkin, and black. The rug has a stepped rhomboid shaped center medallion surrounded by links of lobbed flower blossoms and various geometric motifs. At each corner is a matching curled medallion with diagonal barber pole, linked dot, and triangle meander borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
