A Seth Thomas Acquisition mantel clock. The clock has a modern style with a skeleton design featuring a brass case and glass panels that display the gears and inner workings of the clock. Other features fo the clock include a brass handle on the bonnet and a goldtone bezel displaying a white metal face with black Roman numerals and black serpentine hands set on a glass panel. The clock features a weight driven pendulum with a quartz movement and a battery compartment on the underside and the clock stands on a brass base plinth style base with a decorative repousse design and bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘Seth Thomas’ on the glass and underside.
