Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Turkmen wool area rug, attributed to the Taghan region, in an abrashed palette of mocha, scarlet, and variegated oranges. This area rug features repeated patterns of octagonal Taghan-style guls and a compound border. The primary border features an almond blossom pattern in the field colors. It has double overcast edges and sparse wool warp fringe to the ends. No maker’s tag.
