A hand-knotted Agra-style wool room size rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, ivory, sky blue, wheat, pine, pale yellow, rust, and sage. The cranberry colored field features an all-over shah abbasi pattern with palmettes and curled leaves. Framing the field is a main herati pattern, along with multiple floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges, and a knotted wool warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
