An oil on canvas marine scene, depicting several clipper ship and other sailing ships, housed in a period 19th century gilt and gesso frame. Unsigned, and retaining its original stretcher which is English in origin.

Condition

- some chips and wear to the edges of the frame; additional chips and wear to the face of the frame; craquelure throughout the surface of the painting; item inspected under black light and shows evidence of repair; to the verso, some wear.
