A chromolithographic print after famed early 20th century illustrator C. Allan Gilbert (1873-1929) for a Pabst Extract American Girl calendar. This chromolithograph depicts an elegant young woman in formal early 20th century attire. She is wearing a vibrant orange and yellow dress and posed in a naturalistic way with idealized features. This piece is signed in-plate to the lower edge of the paper. It includes a label which reads ‘Past Extract American Girl Calendar 1914’. An advertisement for Pabst Extract is present to the verso. It is hung in a wooden frame, under glass, with a wire hanger to the verso.
