Item Details
A vintage Louis XIV style Fauteuil a la Reine. This chair features a serpentine shaped crest rail over a padded and upholstered back and seat. The back is upholstered in a tan and brown embossed and painted faux leather with nailhead trim. The seat is upholstered in brown bonded leather with nailhead trim. Arms with scrolled handholds flank the seat, which rises on scrolled legs joined by a serpentine stretcher to front and additional stretchers to sides. There are no visible maker’s marks.
