A circa 1933 lithograph advertising poster for French actress and musician Mistinguett (b. Jeanne Florentine Bourgeois, 1875 – 1956), by Austrian artist Fritz Weninger (1892 – 1981), printed by Atelier König and published by Waldheim-Eberle A.G. of Vienna. The oversized piece is printed over three sheets and depicts the famous performer smiling with wide-eyed expression, wearing a red-and-white polka dotted dress and a pink knit cap. The image features blue and red decorative text of “Mistinguett” printed in plate to the bottom, with a signature in plate of “Atelier König, Weninger, 1933” to the center right, and publishing information of “Imprimé en Autriche, Waldheim-Eberle A.G., Vienne” printed to the lower margin. It is presented under UV plexiglass in a black wooden frame.
