Chinese Toyo Ceramic Vessel

Item Details

A Chinese ceramic vessel by the Toyo factory. The work uses silver and gold-toned glazes to depict an abstracted floral motif. To the bottom, the work is marked ‘Toyo,’ along with additional marks. To the inside of the removable lid, an additional mark is present.

Condition

- to fair; smudges and wear to the base of the item; additional smudges and wear to the lip and lid of the item; inside of vessel could benefit from a cleaning.
