A pencil sketch of a nude woman on paper by listed Egyptian artist Hassan Soliman (b. 1928). This graphite drawing depicts the subject with her legs bent and one arm stretched out past her head, a calm expression on her face. The work is rendered with areas of notable shadow and is signed and dated ‘1981’ toward its lower right. It is double-matted under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with a wire for hanging.

Condition

- heavy discoloration and marks throughout paper, particularly to corners; creases to paper along lower edge; minor nicks and wear to frame; distinct staining prevalent to corners of drawing.
