A set of two black and white photographs on paper of figurative scenes by listed artist Don Dover (American, 20th century) who was a commercial photographer for many years prior to taking over publication of Extra 2200 South. Each item depicts a figure believed to be the artist’s wife, Dottie. One photograph is presented mounted on an off-white mat while the other item is presented loose.
Condition
- some wear to the edges of each item; discoloration and smudges to the surface of the matted item; stain to the left edge of the matted photograph; some warping and creasing to the surface of the loose item; to the verso of each item, some smudges and wear.
