Don Dover Photographs including Cincinnati Landmarks

A collection of three black-and-white photographs on textured paper by listed artist Don Dover (American, 20th century). Featured is a 1950s photo of Vine Street located in the Over-the-Rhine area of Cincinnati, Ohio. Also included is a truncated view looking up at the buildings on Vine Street and a church located on Ludlow Avenue. The artist’s name is located to the verso of the truncated Vine Street photograph, signed by the artist. Two of these pieces are presented mounted on panel while the third is presented as loose work without a mat or frame.

Don Dover was a commercial photographer for many years prior to taking over publication of Extra 2200 South.
