Collection of 20th Century Black and White Photographs of Trains

Item Details

A collection of mid to late 20th century black and white photographs on paper of trains by various artists. The images depict a large variety of trains and locomotives, including images of a Cincinnati Union Terminal engine, ‘32’. To the verso, many of the items include detailed descriptions of the subject pictured and the photographer. Each item is presented loose.

These images were taken by Don or Dan Dover, or given by fans to be used as source, reference, or research material by the Dovers for their use in Extra2200 South, a well-respected rail fan magazine the family published from 1968 into the early 1990s.

Condition

- to fair; some wear to the edges of each item; some items have discoloration and creasing to the edges; to the verso of each item, some wear.
