A generous assortment silver gelatin photographs by listed artist Don Dover (American, 20th century), circa mid 20th century. The works depict a variety of Midwestern landscapes and mid century architecture with a heavy emphasis on the vernacular. Two works are mounted to a single layer of off-white matting while the rest are presented as loose works.
Don Dover was a commercial photographer for many years prior to taking over publication of Extra 2200 South.
Condition
- to fair; some of the photographs are significantly curled at the edges; minor and carrying amounts of toning and foxing to the papers.
