Sanborns Mexican Sterling Silver Floral and Animal Chased Bowl
Item Details
A sterling silver bowl by Sanborns of Mexico City. This bowl features a floral shape with a lobed rim chased with depictions of flowers and animals, including a swan, a dog, and a kangaroo. The round well of the bowl has a hammered texture, and it is raised on three feet in the shape of swans with chased wing details. The underside is stamped, ‘Sunburns Mexico Sterling’ and the approximate sterling weight is 2.905 ozt.
