Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian accent rug. This wool rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of ruby, azure, midnight blue, pink, caramel and ivory. It features a vase design beginning with a quatrefoil medallion amid sprays of flowers, palmettes and vases over a ruby field. The field is framed by four borders, including meandering carnations over azure and sawtooth minor borders in pink and caramel. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short ivory wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
