Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian carpet runner. This wool rug features a Sarouk-style floral vase design in a palette of ruby, midnight blue, ivory, emerald and azure. It has a ruby-colored field populated with sprays of flowers, vases and palmettes. The field is framed by three borders, including a herati main border featuring palmettes, flowers and vines over midnight blue. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
