An oil painting on canvas board titled Still Life with Apples by contemporary Mexican-American artist Jose Trujillo (born 1982). This painting, rendered in a palette of blue, green, white and pink hues, features expressive brushwork and areas of heavily applied pigment. The still life depicts apples, a wine bottle, a handled vessel, and a glass vase filled with a cluster of pink flowers arranged atop a flat surface. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. The painting is presented unframed and without hanging wire. To the verso is a pen notation specifying the title.
