Drury Pifer (1934-2012) was an accomplished author, playwright, pianist, pilot, teacher, and painter. Mr. Pifer studied at the University of Washington and served on the State Art Councils of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Pifer was also an accomplished playwright who had three dozen of his plays staged in London, New York, and many other cities. He received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Delaware Division of the Arts.
