This Impressionist style painting depicts a woman in a ruffled, flowing white dress seated on a strapped chair with her back to the viewer, as a bird perches on her hand. Surrounding them is a well-furnished interior featuring a foliate pedestal, wooden bowl of grapes, metal rack with another bird perched nearby and a potted plant. To the lower left corner is a dated artist signature, reading ‘2000’. The painting is presented in a stained and gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
