A 1904 limited edition of Robert the Deuyll: A Romance. This edition of the medieval English romance based on the legend of Robert the Devil features black-and-white ornamentation by Harold Nelson, accompanying the text of nineteenth-century folklorist William Thoms, and is bound in one-quarter cloth with gilt front cover text. The book was published by Otto Schulze & Co. of Edinburgh in 1904 as the first volume in a series of Early English Prose Romances; a limitation page with the number space left blank indicates that the edition is limited to 500 copies.
