Haunak Mixed Media Drawing on Paper of Traveler and Wildlife
Item Details
A mixed media drawing on paper of a traveler with wildlife attributed to Qaunaq (Haunak) Mikkigak (Inuit; born 1932). The work depicts a single human figure surrounded by birds and elk drawn with ink and hand colored on a landscape made from acrylic paint. A small ink inscription is presented to the lower left corner. A gallery label including the artist name is adhered to the verso. Presented floating in a white mat under glass in a metal frame.
Condition
- some scratches and wear to the frame; glass could benefit from a cleaning; to the verso, some marks to the protective backing.
