Hand-Knotted Persian Heriz Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Heriz carpet runner. This wool rug features a vertical row of hooked and lobed medallions over a garnet field, the medallions flanked on either side by partial medallions. The palette is garnet, emerald, mocha, cream and electric blue. Framing the field are three borders, two of which feature meander patterns, one florets over mocha. Selvedges are overcast; ends finish with short cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
