Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Lilihan carpet runner. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of charcoal gray, mustard yellow, red, cerulean, navy, white, cream, and black. The field is patterned with an all over geometric herati motif of diamond forms, lancet leaves, and palmettes. It is framed with triangle meander guard borders and a carnation meander main border. Finished with overcast edges and short fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
