Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Chobi square accent rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, pale gray, apricot, blush and cream. It features a segment of a herati pattern incoporating palmettes, flowers, leaves and vines over a pale gray field. The field is framed by compound borders, including a wide herati main border featuring meandering flowers and palmettes over crimson. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with cotton warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
