Hand-Knotted Contemporary Style Pakistani Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted contemporary style wool area rug made in Pakistan. The rug has been rendered in variegated shades of golden wheat and pomegranate. The variations in the colors create subtle striations. The simple pattern consists of a horizontal band of gold on the pomegranate field at one end and a tweedy vertical stripe employing both colors along one side. The selvedges are overcast and there is short wool fringe at each end. A tag identifying the materials and place of origin is attached to the underside.
