A hand-knotted Persian Mir Seraband area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of muted coral , cream, peach, black, powder blue, brown, and tan. The field is patterned with a mir-a-boteh pattern and it is framed with carnation meander and Seraband pattern borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked to verso.
