Hand-Knotted Presian Qashqai Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai accent rug. The wool pile rug features a one directional design with geometric and animal motifs in palette of black, azure, crimson, indigo, ivory, green and plum. To the center are hooked rectilinear and pole medallions along with pinwheels, geometric devices and X motifs. Framing the rug are checked, zig zag and barber pole guard borders with a wide checked main border in alternating field colors. Selvedges are overcast in stripes, finishing with natural warp fringe at either end. Unlabeled.
