Decorative Japanese Satsuma Moriage Vase

Item Details

A large urn shaped Satsuma moriage vase featuring a bisque body with a samurai in full red armor on one side and a nobleman on the other. The piece is highlighted with scroll handles, a scalloped edge rim and gilded highlights throughout. The piece is marked (一大日本小山古造) to the underside.

Condition

- light crazing and gild wear.
