A pair of vintage Ironrite Health Chairs, designed by Herman H. Sperlich. The steel framed ergonomic chairs feature pivoting back rests and plywood seats. The health chairs were designed in 1938 for workers at the Ironrite Ironer Co. in Detroit, Michigan, with one model on permanent display at MoMA.
