A vintage Kutani Ware lithophane tea set. The set is made from fine delicate porcelain and features a large dragon design in relief to the side in a palette of charcoal grey, white, and azure blue. The set includes lithophane detailing to the bottom of the teacups depicting the face of a traditional Japanese lady. The set includes a teapot, a covered sugar bowl, an open sugar bowl, a creamer, six tea cups, ten saucers, one mini plate, and one covered trinket box. Marked ‘Kutani Hand Painted Japan’ to the bottom.
