Pair of Framed Needlepoint and Petite-point Portraits
Item Details
A pair of vintage companion needlepoint and petite-point portraits. They feature a bonneted girl positioned to the right extending a bouquet and the other has a gentleman facing left extending a bouquet. Both are presented with rectangular black wood and gilt beaded frames with curved corners. Label fixed to the verso, of each reads, ’ Allen Cornell, Bronxville, N. Y.’.
Condition
Overall in good shape, consistent with age. The paper lining on the gentleman’s frame is torn in spots and show some stains. Slight yellowing to the needlepoint background.
