A leaded brass sculpture of a bullfight by well-listed Mexican artist Heriberto Juarez (1932 – 2008). This piece presents a torero engaging a bull, rendered in textured, expressive forms. The work is signed and dated ‘07 on the edge of the torero’s cape. The figures stand on a pentagonal metal base, which is presented on a marble disc.

Condition

- minor surface wear to raised areas of sculpture; residue on top and sides of base; plastic label affixed to base.
