A vintage Chinese diorama. The diorama depicts a hawk or falcon perched on a jutting rock with a curving conifer tree to the right with a small overhanging branch to the top. The elements are carved from wood with the conifer trunk depicted with precisely layered pine cone parts and the conifer needles delicately arranged from tiny pieces of wood. The diorama is signed to the right side, displayed under glass in a curvilinear gray mat, with the art arranged upon a white board. The diorama is framed in black wood with a brass Asian hanger to the top. The piece retains the original sticker to the verso.
