A French Second Empire style alabaster mantel clock. The clock features a white alabaster vertical, rectangular shape with gilded trim and blue accents. The clock has a Grecian urn finial with a decorative blue and goldtone design and scrolled brass side handles with blue trim on the bonnet. Other features of the clock include a brass frame that surrounds a white metal face with black Roman numerals and contemporary hands with a key arbor. The clock features decorative goldtone knobs on the corners, a plinth style base with a decorative blue and goldtone design, adjustable goldtone feet and an eight-day weight-driven mechanism. There are no apparent makers marks.
