A wooden cane-backed rocking chair. This piece features a curved crest rail with a patterned veneer and etched headpiece leading to a woven cane back and seat set within a wooden frame with scroll arms. The chair rests on four legs with an H stretcher mounted on two simple rails. The name ‘P. Gustine’ is marked in black cursive to the underside.
