An original acrylic painting on canvas titled A Blue Bend by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957). The abstract painting features broad, textural horizontal brushstrokes in a palette of yellow, peach and gray. Strong vertical elements in dark blue appear to the right side and the lower left. The work is signed in orange to the lower left. The gallery wrapped canvas is presented unframed, and is ready to hang with a wire.
Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
