Vintage "M.C.Co." Ship's Binnacle
Item Details
A binnacle or ships compass. This all metal and black enamel vintage ship’s binnacle features a housing that allows it to remain stable on pitching and rolling waters. The face is off white with large black directional letters and compass degree measurements. The piece is housed in a light finished mahogany box with reinforcing brass bands, brass hinges, latch, carrying handle with a brass ship’s wheel inlaid in the lid. The face is marked ‘M.C.CO.’ on the South arrow and north is marked ‘Polaris’ with a fleur de lis.

- black enamel finish chipped and scuffed on the chronometer.
