A limited edition cast pewter sculpture made in 1975 by listed American artist Donald Polland (1932 – 2003) titled The Rescue. The small sculpture depicts a man on horseback rescuing a fallen figure, with his horse laying on the ground below. The piece is signed and dated in mold on one side and stamped with the edition 1039/ 2500 and titled in mold on the other. It is presented on a wooden base.
