A vintage hand-knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk runner. The rug displays deep brown field with three chained pendant medallions in a palette of taupe, rose, light blue, ochre, cream, rust, dark brown. The field is bounded by brown spandrels and surrounded by a compound floral border with close-cropped fringe at the far ends. The rug is unmarked.
