An original 1973 serigraph on paper titled The Last Sunflower Seed by well-listed and renowned American Geometric Minimalist wildlife artist and conservationist Charley Harper (Cincinnati; 1922 – 2007). The image depicts a cluster of frantic cardinals scrambling for the last sunflower seed, as the one who found it is making a swift exit to the right. The print is numbered 989/1500 and signed in pencil to the lower margin. This work is presented behind white mat with a black liner, under glass, in a stained wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso.
