A copy oil painting on canvas after listed artist Claude Monet’s On the Boat. This Post-Impressionist style painting depicts two women in circa 19th century flowing dresses and large sun hats leisurely sitting in a rowboat, which glides across a reflective body of water. The work is rendered with truncated brush strokes layered on top of one another and is unsigned. This painting is presented in a gold tone gessoed wooden frame featuring a linen liner with hanging wire to the verso.

- foxing to fabric liner; scuff mark to lower left corner of painting; wear to edges and corners of frame; crack to lower left corner of ornamentation; tonal variations to gilt work.
