An English Chippendale style oak corner chair having a hand-carved, embossed leather seat, circa mid-20th century. The piece features a curved and molded crest rail extending to scrolled arms over two pierced splats and turned spindles and arm supports. The diagonally mounted seat is upholstered in embossed brown leather including pumpkin and floral designs. It stands on a front acanthus leaf carved, cabriole leg ending on a claw and ball foot.
