Item Details
A vintage Victorian style chair. The low-back oak chair has a horizontal turned crest rail, with turned spindles, and a carved and hand-painted center panel depicting multi-colored flowers. The turned side supports have carved oak leaf motifs. The seat is padded and upholstered in a green and lavender woven diamond-patterned fabric with green and rust gimp trim, and the chair rests on straight turned and carved legs with turned stretchers and spindles along the front. The chair frame has been given a metallic gold painted finish. No maker’s mark.
