An oil painting on canvas by listed artist Olivier Foss (French/American, 1920-2002). This expressively-painted work depicts a city street scene with a sidewalk that ramps down to a river that cuts through and flows beneath an arched bridge. It is painted with thick strokes of paint and signed to the upper left corner. The work is presented in a gold tone wood frame with molded ornamentation, a fabric liner, and wire to the verso for hanging.

- notable craquelure to surface of piece; tears to paper backing.
