An original acrylic painting on canvas Gold Landscape by Cincinnati based contemporary artist Sarah Brown. This minimalist abstract landscape depicts fields of green and gold color bisected by an implied horizon of deep green broken color highlighted with select areas of brilliant red. The artist has used a heavy application of pigment throughout the piece, creating an intriguing textural effect. This piece has painted sides and does not require framing. Brown studied Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Hartford and Hartford Art School. Her work has been accepted to and received awards at several group and solo shows and is currently on display in public and private collections throughout the country. Sarah is now a resident of Cincinnati and currently works from her studio at the Pendleton Art Center.
