Antique School Desk by the American Seating Company
Item Details
An antique school desk by the American Seating Company, circa early 20th century. This two piece desk is composed of maple and iron. One piece features a hinged plank seat with a desk surface behind; the other piece consists of a desk surface with a backrest to the front. Each desk surface features a pencil rest and a shelf below. They rest upon curved iron legs on black-painted wooden planks and are marked ‘A S Co. 5’. This item is located in the basement of the property.
