A Black Forest cuckoo clock with Edelweiss musical movement. The clock has a traditional style with a wood case and carved bird in relief on the crest with decorative carved wood leaves throughout. The clock features a traditional wood door with a cuckoo bird that appears on the hour and colorful wood figures that move about the chalet porch to music. Other features of the clock include a wood face with antique white numbers and white hands, a pine cone pendulum and pine cone-shaped weights on chains, an Edelweiss musical movement and a hook for hanging on the verso. The clock is marked ‘Edelweiss’ on the verso.
